Haylee: The season turned out good for the most part. My main goal was to help the team on defense by throwing quality and effective pitches on the mound.

VYPE: What is the most fun you have had in the last year?

Haylee: The most fun I’ve had was definitely playing Deer Creek in regionals and beating them. The atmosphere was awesome and super fun.

VYPE: Who is your favorite teacher from any grade and why?

Haylee: My favorite teacher is Mrs. Krista Marriott. I had her 9th and 11th grade and she always made learning fun.

VYPE: Who do you look up to and why?

Haylee: I look up to Keilani Rickets because she is so knowledgeable about the game and has taught me so much.

VYPE: What teammate has left the biggest impression on you and why?

Haylee: Olivia Smith, our second baseman has left the biggest impression on me. She plays so hard and never quits. She is a great team player and and just an overall really good person.

VYPE: What is your favorite part about being on a team?

Haylee: My favorite part about being in a team is that you can always rely on them to have your back.

VYPE: You can pick any place for a summer vacation, where do you go and who do you take with you?

Haylee: If I could go anywhere for vacation it would probably be the Bahamas. I would probably take my friends.

VYPE: When and how did you first get into playing softball?

Haylee: I first started playing when I was six for a boys and girls club team. My mom played college softball so I wanted to give softball a try.

VYPE: Here is your chance to say hello, goodbye or thank you to anyone you wish.

Haylee: I want to say thank you to my parents and coaches.
