

The Southmoore Sabercats softball team won its second straight 6A fast pitch softball state championship on Saturday, defeating Owasso 5-1 in the championship game at Hall of Fame Stadium in Oklahoma City.
The Sabercats went 13-1 since September 22nd to close out their historic season. In the state tournament, Southmoore defeated Broken Arrow 7-3, Mustang 5-1 and then Owasso to take home the gold ball.
Head Coach Jason Lingo led Southmoore to a 33-6 overall record this season.
