3 Questions with Taylor Dorman
VYPE: What does it mean to you when you are called the unsung hero of this team?
Dorman: For me, being an unsung hero is just making sure that everyone else is taken care of. When I see others around me getting in their heads or not doing their best, I try to encourage and give them the best positive affirmations I can provide. Seeing others becoming more confident and comfortable with themselves and being selfless towards my teammates makes me extremely happy.
VYPE: If you were stranded on an island, who are three people you would want there with you?
Dorman: The three people I would bring to an island with me would be my dad, my best friend Kayleann, and Tom Hanks. My dad is really strong physically and mentality, as well has already having knowledge of how to handle rough situations from his previous experience in the Navy. For my second person, I’d have to say my best friend Kayleann. She may not be the brightest person in a survival aspect but is very determined when she sets her mind to something. I also think she would make the situation more lighthearted and funny for everyone. Tom Hanks is my third and final person. Many of his movies have been in settings similar to this like Cast Away, and in the military portion of Forrest Gump. Having a celebrity on the island would be a pretty cool life experience too.
VYPE: What is your favorite subject in school and who is your favorite teacher?
Dorman: My favorite subject in school is AP Biology with Dr. Gates.
