Coach: Tim Stogsdill
20-21 Record: 10-10
There are some fresh faces in new roles for the Lady Cats of Southmoore High School. Head coach Tim Stogsdill is spinning up a new group to take over the program. “We have one returning starter with a group that plays very unselfish and for each other,” said coach Stogsdill. “We will try to keep teams off balance, mixing it up on the defensive end. We will be up-tempo, space the floor and shoot the three on offense. We are hungry to get back to the state tournament.” Ryan Guerrero (6-0, Jr.) averaged 6.0 points, 4.0 rebounds and 3.0 assists last season. Guerrero has a motor that does not stop, and he never takes a play off. His defense is top notch and he set a school record with six threes in one game. Keilan Howard (6-1, Sr.) pitched in 5.0 points, 3.0 rebounds and 2.0 assists per game last year. Howard is a team leader and a floor General. Ethan Clark (6-0, Sr.) will play a larger role on the team this year. Clark is a quality student-athlete on and off the court. Also look for Jesse Ledbetter (So.) who played some varsity minutes as a freshman.
