As teams try to figure out the puzzle that is Southmoore soccer, one underclassman is a piece that most teams have no answer for. Head coach Kit Stephenson had this to say about his standout sophomore Austin Hurt.
“Austin is a sophomore striker and winger. He’s quick and very technical. His decision-making is my favorite thing about him as he has a knack for unlocking defenses. He also uses his body well and is very difficult to get off the ball. Austin also scores a lot from set pieces because he’s dangerous in the air,” said coach Stephenson.
We wanted to learn a little more about this striker, so we caught up with him just before the season started.

VYPE: What do you enjoy doing in your free time?
